1, the choice of chilli
The chilli used for drying should be sorted to remove moldy, damaged, and leaves and debris from the peppers. The environment where chillis are stored should be ventilated and dry. The height of the chilli should not exceed one meter, and the stacking time should not exceed 3 days.
2. Thickness of chilli
When using a chilli dryer to dry chillis, be sure to pay attention to the thickness of the material, because if it is too thick, it will not dry completely, and if it is too thin, it will overdry. According to different chili humidity, chili varieties and chili drying requirements, choose the appropriate thickness of the material.
3. Chili drying temperature and drying speed
The drying temperature of chilli is a very important step. Generally, the drying temperature of chilli is controlled at 75-90°C. Different chilli have different moisture content, so we need to control the speed of chilli drying. In order to achieve a good drying effect, the current chilli drying adopts different time periods and different temperatures.
4. After the chilli is dried
The chili cannot be bagged immediately after drying, and it needs to be aired for a while to avoid dampness.
5, pepper storage method
When storing peppers, pay attention to the clean, hygienic, ventilated and dry storage environment, and control the stacking height reasonably.
