Onions are 2-year-old herbs. Belonging to the Liliaceae herb, it is a very common cheap home-cooked dish. Native to western Asia, it is cultivated all over my country and available in all seasons.


How to dry Onion in a dehydrator?

Before drying


Directions:
1. Selection of raw materials: Choose a large, white-colored, mature onion with a tight structure and no mechanical damage.
2. Cleaning: Rinse with water and drain.
3. Peel the skin: Remove the head and tail of the onion, and peel off the skin.
4. Slicing: Put the onion on a mesh belt or a baking tray, put it in the drying room, and dry it. The temperature is controlled at 75%-90%. After 15-20 hours, when the moisture content is 13%, take it out.
5. Cooling: Take out the onion slices and let cool naturally at room temperature.
